Take another mug and add the water (50ml), milk (240) ml, and butter in it (Butter and milk contain vitamin D, which is essential for bones). Put them into the microwave oven for 20-30 seconds or until the butter has melted.
To make dough add all the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients (water, milk, and butter) and mix them. Mix lightly, and when you see your dough is quite soft and a little sticky, then cover it with a clean plastic cover and leave for 10-15 minutes. Put your flour and knead for 4-6 minutes.
After lapping your flour, put it into a large oiled tray and cover it tightly with a clean towel or plastic cover. Now leave it until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
Put out this dough on the floured surface until just under 1-inch-thick and leave it for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, you can cut the English muffins into a round shape with a cutter. These cut muffins can be stored in the fridge to be cooked later.
Expand apart on a baking sheet sprinkled with semolina. Leave these muffins in a warm place for another 30 minutes or more.
